Ricky Diamonds is a lounge singer extraordinaire and the stage persona of Golden, BC musician Eric Larocque (Stellar Radio Choir, Broken Brothers). Evoking classy crooners from the days of old and pairing it with modern musical sensibilities, the Ricky Diamonds sound goes down smooth like a finely aged scotch.

Recorded in Vancouver at Blue Light Studio and released on Smol Dog Records, Ricky’s debut release ‘Introducing… Ricky Diamonds’ features the tracks ‘Never Alone’ and ‘Tightrope’.

‘Never Alone’ is a nod to the classic “guitarmonies” of the 70’s mixed in with modern production to create an undeniably catchy and decidedly dancy singly that is the culmination of Ricky channeling his inner dance daddy. The song ‘Tightrope’ slows down the pace to a gentle pleasure cruise that embraces classic Motown R&B stylings. Featuring a smooth sax line that culminates to a wailing solo, ‘Tightrope’ is the perfect blend of jazz and rock that still maintains Ricky’s lounge lizard lilt.
